Step by Step Instructions
1. Go to Google and search for your address. Click on “Maps” at the top of the page.
2. Click on “Satellite” in the lower left corner of the Google Map and zoom into your property. See the example below in which we are measuring how much fencing we will need to have a fence around our property.
3. Right click on your property and choose the menu option “Measure distance”.
4. Simply click on the Google Map where you want your fence to be. Then click again to add to the fence path. See the fence path surrounding the property in white below.
5. In this example, we want a fence around our property but not completely enclosed. The total distance of fencing material we will need for this project is 1,718.25 feet or 523.75 meters.
